How Cop works
Cop is a marketplace: the items on cop.boutique are sold by independent sellers, and Cop (COP INC.) runs the store, the checkout and the protection around every purchase. Here is who does what.

Independent, verified sellers
Each offer is sold by an independent seller, named on the product page next to “Sold by” (business sellers by name, individuals as a verified seller), with a link to the seller’s page. Before their offers can be bought, sellers accept Cop’s seller agreement, keep a payment card on file with Cop, provide identity and address documents and complete identity verification. A new product must be approved by Cop before it is added to the catalogue.
Authentic products only
Only authentic products may be sold on Cop; selling counterfeit goods is prohibited and can lead to the offer’s removal and the suspension of the seller’s selling privileges. If an item you bought turns out to be counterfeit, Cop Buyer Protection refunds you.
Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Sales taxes (GST/HST and QST where they apply) are calculated from your delivery address and shown at checkout, with the delivery cost, before you pay. A crossed-out price is shown only as the product’s retail price, never as an invented “was” price.
Payments and secure checkout
You pay Cop, not the seller, through Cop’s checkout on cop.boutique. Card payments are processed by Stripe over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection; Cop never sees or stores your full card number. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. The seller is paid only after the order has shipped and at least 7 days after delivery.
Shipping and delivery
Sellers ship orders directly from their own location; orders do not pass through a Cop warehouse. The product page and the checkout show each offer’s delivery cost and estimated delivery date before you pay, and the tracking number is shared with you once the seller ships. An order with items from several sellers can arrive in several parcels.
Returns and refunds
Each offer shows its return terms (“Terms for this offer”) before you buy: the return window, who pays return shipping and any restocking fee. Where Cop’s return policy applies, eligible new items can be returned within 30 days of receipt, unworn and in their original packaging. To start a return, contact the seller or Cop from Your orders; approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Cop Buyer Protection
If an item doesn’t arrive, arrives damaged, is counterfeit or is materially different from the offer, and the seller doesn’t resolve it, Cop reviews your claim and funds the approved refund itself, whatever the seller’s return terms. Submit a claim within 30 days of delivery.
Reviews
Only buyers who bought the product through Cop can review it, and sellers can’t review their own products. Ratings shown on product pages are the average of those reviews; products without reviews say so.
